Mr. Chan Pak Hei (Kade Chan)
Founding Chairman

In addition to teaching origami, Kade Chan has also created his own brand, ORIME, which combines the words Origami and Me. The name also holds significance in Japanese, as it means folding crease pattern. His goal is to utilize origami folding techniques in industrial product design, drawing from his experience at PolyU School of Design. In 2019, he designed a fashion handbag using origami folding techniques and genuine leather. This innovative design allows the handbag to transform from a flat shape to various sizes and folding methods, offering both space-saving storage and versatility for different occasions. The handbag was developed as part of the program "NEXXT by D Twincities" by the Hong Kong Federation of Design Associations and is now available for purchase worldwide.
Looking ahead, Kade hopes to explore opportunities to apply origami folding techniques in various industries, including medical and architecture, while also contributing to the well-being of individuals with ADHD and Dementia.
